Two Historical Churches in Hollywood
Thursday, February 19, 2015 – New Time 7:30am to 4pm
Bring $7 for a fast food lunch
We are currently studying the “Power of the Church” and the impact it has made throughout history through the lives of the many who have served in it, but have also served others because of it. We also believe that there is no better way to see the power of the church except in person. This is why we are visiting not just historical churches but asking students to visit thriving churches.
We will go Thursday morning to visit and tour one of the oldest churches in Los Angeles, Hollywood Presbyterian Church. It is has a full history of changing lives and is known for sending out people that have influenced the world. We will also be visiting a very different church down the street called Hope International Bible Fellowship. It is a church of 4 churches in one and also serves many of the needs of the needy in the area. They gave away over a million dollars in food last year. We will hear and see how the church can bring powerful change in people’s lives.
